Skin Care Herbivore, a natural skincare brand started in 2011 from a kitchen in Seattle, and is now a widely known brand in the clean beauty industry. Julia Wills and Alexander Kummerow have a shop on Etsy where they sell vegan and natural products. Today, Herbivore skincare is available at Sephora stores across the country. Our products are paraben-free, sulfate-free, phthalate-free, and free of synthetic ingredients. My honest thoughts on Herbivore skincare products are based on my experience using Aquarius Cream, Blue Tansy Mask, Lapis Facial Oil, Pink Cloud Jelly Cleanser, Pink Cloud Soft Moisture Cream and Cloud Jelly Plumping Serum. According to my experience with Herbivore products, their formulas are gentle and mild. Herbivore is great for sensitive skin types, young skin, or people new to clean beauty, but if you’re looking for something powerfully anti-aging, skip it.

The Herbivore Blue Tansy Mask provides both hydration and gentle resurfacing in one. Upon application, I feel a tingling sensation from the acids, which quickly goes away. It’s a gentle mask compared to my other resurfacing masks, but it feels wonderful on the skin. The Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Mask is a gel mask made of natural ingredients, so the effects are subtle. Organic Pineapple and Organic Papaya enzymes as well as Willow Bark and Blue Tansy Oil are included in the Blue Tansy Mask. The following ingredients are used: caprylate, salix nigra (willow) bark extract, Tanacetum annuum (blue tansy) flower oil, ananas status (organic pineapple) fruit extract, Carica papaya (organic papaya) fruit extract, Carica papaya (organic papaya) leaf extract, Jasminum sambac (jasmine) flower oil,

Herbivore’s Lapis Facial Oil is a Squalane-based oil that’s easily absorbed and super lightweight. To enjoy this facial oil, you must like the scent of Blue Tansy. I feel as if I’m using the facial oil version of May Lindstrom’s iconic The Blue Cocoon. The addition of Jasmine oil makes me feel like I’ve got a secret garden in a bottle. Herbivore Blue Tansy Facial Oil is made mostly of Squalane, which feels very hydrating on the skin and absorbs immediately. The only downside is that this is a very expensive oil. Although this is one of the better products in the Herbivore line, there are more affordable face oils out there that are just as good. Check out Earth Harbor Marina Biome Brightening Ampoule, which is very similar to Lapis but half the price.

Herbivore Aquarius Pore Purifying Clarity Cream is formulated for oily and combination skin types and contains BHA to unclog congested pores. You must like the sweet scent of Blue Tansy to enjoy this face cream. Even though this product doesn’t have a strong scent, it is nonetheless present. The following ingredients are made up of this product:
